Ombra Co is the independent company behind Ombra Digital, Nook and Jarrah. Based in Melbourne and founded by Dani Sexton, it brings together over 15 years of experience across commercial photography, e-commerce and digital marketing. Each business has its own purpose and identity, with Ombra Co behind the work.
Nook
A shared place for everyday family care, connecting parents and carers around sleep, feeds and the little moments. Currently in development.

Meet the founder
Hi, I’m Dani.
My work began behind the camera as a commercial and e-commerce photographer. It grew into social media, content, email and performance marketing, working with brands directly and within Australian agencies.
I hold degrees in Applied Business Marketing and Commercial Photography. Before Ombra, I worked as an account manager and educator specialising in performance marketing, and held a senior role at a boutique Melbourne agency.
Working across both the creative and commercial sides of a business has shaped how I approach a project: understand what matters, make it clearly, and keep improving it. Today, I’m bringing that experience into building Nook and Jarrah.
